A dress shirt with sleeves that are always slightly too long or a collar that's never quite right is exactly the frustration Apposta built its made-to-measure model to solve. Apposta, founded in 2016 by a fourth-generation Italian shirtmaker, is an online custom shirtmaker offering made-to-measure dress shirts crafted in Italy from premium fabrics, including mills like Albini and Canclini.
The custom process stores each customer's measurements after the first order, so every reorder maintains the same perfect fit without re-entering details, and shirts can also be cloned from an existing favorite shirt sent in for reference. With one of the world's largest fabric inventories and eight cuff style options, the customization range is genuinely extensive for an online-only shirtmaker. Apposta holds a solid 4.1/5 rating from over 7,000 Trustpilot reviews, with customers frequently praising fit quality and craftsmanship, though it's fair to note the company replies to a relatively small share (around 12%) of negative reviews, so following up directly by email tends to work better than waiting for a response to a public review. Every shirt is made on demand, minimizing production waste. Before ordering, it's worth checking this page for the current Apposta discount code or coupon code — seasonal promos can meaningfully cut the final price.
