About Tennessee Wholesale Nursery
Bare-root plants arriving looking dead when they're actually just dormant is a common enough confusion in this category that Tennessee Wholesale Nursery backs every order with a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee to cover genuine problems. Tennessee Wholesale Nursery, family-owned since 1959 and based in Altamont, Tennessee, offers trees, shrubs, perennials, ferns, mosses, and native plants at grower-direct wholesale pricing, shipping to all 50 states.
The catalog genuinely stands out for native and pollinator-friendly options — milkweed for monarch conservation, wildflowers, and erosion-control species that bigger box-store garden centers rarely stock. Customer feedback is honestly quite polarized depending on the source: Trustpilot and BBB reviews skew positive, with the company actively responding to and resolving complaints under its live arrival guarantee, while other review aggregators show a meaningfully rougher pattern of complaints about plant condition on arrival and slower support responses. Given this split, it's worth documenting your delivery with photos immediately and submitting any warranty claim right away rather than waiting, and checking your specific planting zone and season before ordering bare-root stock. Before ordering, it's worth checking this page for the current Tennessee Wholesale Nursery discount code or coupon code — seasonal promos can meaningfully cut the final price.
