Cupkin review: compare sticker-book formats, subscription costs, return conditions and the children's-cup recall before choosing products from the store.

Cupkin's current store features sticker books, colouring books and bundles, while drinkware also appears in its catalog. These categories need different checks. A review that only praises the colourful stationery would miss the important history of its children's cups, and a cup recall should not be presented as evidence that an unrelated book is recalled.

This review examines official store pages and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice checked on November 4, 2026. We have not used the books, tested products or placed an order. Dealnory may earn a commission through our links at no extra cost to you. See the Cupkin store page on Dealnory alongside the product-specific checks below.

Cupkin review: the cup recall comes first

CPSC recall 23-774, announced July 20, 2023, concerns approximately 346,000 CUPKIN double-walled stainless-steel children's cups. The notice identifies 8 oz and 12 oz models sold in pairs, sold online between January 2018 and March 2023. It says lead levels exceed the federal lead-content ban.

The official instruction is to stop using the recalled cups, take them away from children and contact Soojimus for a refund. If you own a potentially affected pair, use the CPSC recall database and search recall number 23-774 for identification and current remedy details. Do not use this review as permission to continue using an affected product.

The older brand recall-page address referenced in the notice returned a not-found response during our check. That does not establish that the recall has ended. Use the regulator's notice and contact information if a historical brand link no longer works. We have not tested the refund process or confirmed a specific customer's remedy.

This article does not recommend purchasing the recalled cups. Nor can we certify that a current or secondhand cup is outside the affected population from a listing photograph alone. Ask the manufacturer to identify the exact product and relevant documentation before considering drinkware.

The current sticker-book range

The reviewed catalog includes Animal Habitats, Cars Trucks Planes and Dinosaurs sticker books, among many other themes. These provide a clearer basis for discussing the store's stationery range than treating Cupkin solely as a cup brand. Match the theme to the recipient's interests rather than assuming the largest bundle is automatically the best choice.

The Animal Habitats listing describes side-by-side sticker sheets and scenes, twelve activities and more than five hundred stickers. It also describes matching colouring scenes. These are store descriptions; we have not counted the stickers, evaluated print quality or measured how long a child uses the book.

For a gift, inspect cover and inside-page photographs. A child who enjoys vehicles may prefer a transport theme to a larger selection of unrelated topics. Also consider whether the recipient already owns the same title. Repeated books can reduce the practical value of a bundle.

Repositionable is different from indefinitely reusable

The product FAQ says stickers can be lifted and repositioned, but are designed to stick and are not static-cling stickers. That distinction matters if you expect a book that can be reset indefinitely. We have not tested adhesion, paper tearing or repeated use.

Consider the activity as a physical craft rather than an unlimited digital library. Once a page is filled, a child may colour it, revisit it or want a new scene. The useful comparison is the type of play offered, not an assumed number of guaranteed entertainment hours.

If easy peeling matters, inspect the page layout and consider the child's actual ability and preferences. Marketing about fine-motor development is not a developmental assessment of the individual child, and this review does not verify promised improvements.

Age suitability and practical use

Product wording uses several age ranges across headings and descriptions. Check the actual packaging and current product guidance for the selected book, and choose supervision appropriate to the child. Do not infer a universal age recommendation for every item from one category page.

For travel, consider the space available to open the book, store loose sheets and put pencils away. A side-by-side layout may be convenient, but a large open spread can still be awkward on a small tray. We have not tested the books in a car or on a flight.

The store's clean-play language should not be taken as a promise that stickers never end up on furniture or other surfaces. Set out an appropriate activity space and explain where the materials should be used. This is ordinary use planning, not a tested durability or cleaning claim.

Single purchase versus Sticker Book Club

The reviewed Animal Habitats page presents a single-book purchase alongside a club promotion describing two curated books per month and an introductory extra book. It displays a $24.99 club amount and a separate single-book price. Confirm the current offer, billing interval and included titles before selecting either route.

A promotional book described as zero-cost is tied to the stated club arrangement; it should not be understood as a free stand-alone shipment with no ongoing charge. Check the recurring-purchase notice and cancellation terms before accepting a subscription option.

Curated selections can be convenient if variety is the goal. They are less predictable if the recipient only wants a narrow theme or already has several titles. Ask how duplicate books, preferences and skipped deliveries are handled rather than assuming every box will be individually chosen around your collection.

Record the next billing date and the deadline for a pause or cancellation. The page advertises flexibility, but we have not tested the account controls or confirmed a universal cutoff. Keep written confirmation after changing a recurring order.

Compare delivered value

For a one-time order, compare the total after shipping rather than the cover price alone. For a subscription, compare the amount you will pay across the months you actually expect to keep it. An introductory extra item can reduce the first box's unit cost without reducing later recurring payments.

As a hypothetical example, a 24 two-book order would be 12 per book, while keeping that same monthly amount for six months would cost 144. These are illustrative numbers, not a current Cupkin quote. Use the checkout amount, actual book count and selected billing period for your comparison.

Store credit for a future purchase is different from an immediate reduction in the current payment. Check when it becomes available, what it can be used on and whether you will realistically place another order. Do not count it as cash received.

The detailed return terms

The current return-policy page describes returns within sixty days of receipt, free return shipping through a prepaid label, and no restocking fee. It also requires unused items in original packaging and says a refund may be reduced or denied if those conditions are not met. Original shipping is non-refundable.

That unused condition matters for sticker books. A general satisfaction heading should not be read as permission to finish a book, remove stickers and then return it for a full refund. Ask about any specific situation before opening or using an item if return eligibility is important.

The policy says to contact support for return authorisation and describes refunds to the original payment method within five to seven business days after receipt. We have not verified that processing time. Ordinary retail returns and the recalled-cup remedy are separate processes; do not use the unused-book condition to interpret the regulator's recall instructions.

Checkout and order records

Before payment, confirm whether you are buying one title, a fixed bundle or a recurring club. Check the current destination, currency, shipping cost and dispatch estimate. A long country selector is not proof that every product or shipping promotion is available to every address.

Save the order details and any policy clarification. If the delivered book is damaged or differs from the selected title, photograph the issue and contact the store. We have not tested packaging strength or delivery reliability.

Using Dealnory for the stationery range

Browse Cupkin's current stationery range through our affiliate link after checking the format and billing choice. This link is not a recommendation to buy recalled cups. Confirm the actual title, quantity and complete charge before relying on a coupon.

Our assessment

Cupkin's sticker-book range offers multiple illustrated themes and different purchase formats worth comparing on layout, recipient interest and full cost. The subscription requires a separate decision from buying one book, and the unused-item condition limits what an ordinary return guarantee means in practice.

The historical cup recall remains essential context and should be checked directly through the regulator's record. Our review does not certify current drinkware or independently validate product-safety claims. For stationery, choose a suitable theme and format; for an affected cup already at home, follow the official stop-use and refund instructions.
