EarFun review: compare earbuds, everyday fit, noise-cancelling claims, battery ratings, app features and purchase terms before choosing your audio setup.
A long list of codecs and noise-cancelling features can make wireless earbuds look similar on paper. The useful differences appear in ordinary use: whether they fit comfortably, connect to your devices and last through the sessions you actually need. EarFun deserves comparison at that practical level rather than through feature counts alone.
This review evaluates published specifications and shopping information checked on November 4, 2026, with Air Pro 4 as a detailed example. We have not listened to, worn or independently measured these products. Dealnory may earn a commission through our links at no extra cost to you. EarFun review: choose the format first
The brand's catalog includes several earbud models and other audio products. Begin with your main situation: commuting, desk calls, exercise or longer listening at home. The most elaborate feature package is not necessarily the most suitable format for every one of those uses.
Think about how often you switch devices and where you will keep the case. A compact pair may suit a pocket, while another format may better match someone who dislikes an in-ear fit. Assess the product you intend to wear rather than treating the brand as one uniform sound or comfort specification.
Make a short list of requirements before comparing offers. Include your phone or computer, typical listening-session length, the environments you need to hear around you and the control functions you use frequently. That helps keep a discount from deciding the format for you.
Air Pro 4: the published features in context
The Air Pro 4 listing describes Bluetooth 5.4, 10mm dynamic drivers, adaptive noise cancellation, app customisation, multi-device connectivity and wireless charging. It advertises aptX Lossless and LDAC support, while noting that some LE Audio and Auracast functionality depends on firmware updates. These are manufacturer specifications rather than performance verified in this review.
The model name matters. Air Pro 4, Air Pro 4+ and other similarly named versions should be compared as separate products. Confirm the exact suffix, colour and included accessories in the cart; a review or feature demonstration for a newer version may not describe the item you are ordering.
If one feature is essential, ask about the current software requirements before paying. A feature described as coming through an update should not be assumed to work on your existing phone and installed firmware without checking.
Codec support is a system question
A supported codec on the earbuds is only one part of a wireless setup. Check the capabilities of the transmitting device, the app or operating system settings and any relevant mode restrictions. Do not assume an advertised lossless or high-resolution label describes every connection you make.
For a practical comparison, identify the devices you use most and verify the connection options that work with each. Someone switching between a work computer and a personal phone may value predictable reconnection more than a feature available only on a different device.
We have not measured codec behaviour, connection stability or latency. A protocol version and a low-latency marketing figure cannot establish those outcomes for every combination of hardware and software. Test the actual task you need while the applicable return conditions remain open.
Fit is central to the decision
Check the supplied tip options and the fitting guidance for the selected model. Ear shape and personal preference can make a substantial difference to comfort. A photograph or an ergonomic claim cannot tell you whether you will want to wear a particular pair for an hour.
Consider the situations in which fit becomes noticeable: walking, talking, looking down or wearing glasses and a hat. Do the controls remain accessible, and can you remove the earbuds easily? These ordinary questions can matter more than another line on the specification table.
If a pair feels painful or unsuitable, stop using it and resolve the fit question. Preserve the accessories and follow the merchant's hygiene and return instructions. Do not assume a return promise automatically permits every kind of extended wear test.
Noise cancellation: separate the claim from the result
EarFun markets adaptive noise cancellation for Air Pro 4, including a headline reduction figure. We have not measured cancellation in transport, an office or a windy street. Treat the figure as a manufacturer claim rather than a guarantee of silence in every environment.
Think about the sound you want reduced and the surroundings you still need to notice. A regular background hum, nearby conversation and sudden noise are different listening situations. A useful evaluation should describe the context instead of assigning one broad label such as excellent cancellation.
Review the available listening modes and controls before relying on the product outside. Choose an appropriate mode for the situation and remain aware of your surroundings. This article does not establish suitability for activities where hearing warnings or following specific equipment rules is essential.
Battery: the case total is not one session
The published Air Pro 4 specifications distinguish up to 11 hours with cancellation off and 7.5 hours with it on. The corresponding totals with the charging case are 52 and 35 hours. The brand notes that volume and audio content affect playtime. These figures have not been independently tested here.
Use the single-charge figure when planning a long meeting or journey. The case total includes recharging between sessions, so it does not describe uninterrupted listening. Include the time and opportunity to recharge the case itself in your routine.
Also compare the charging methods you will actually use. Wireless charging may be convenient at a desk, while a cable can be simpler when travelling. Confirm the included cable and power requirements rather than assuming every accessory shown in a demonstration is supplied.
Calls, controls and the app
Microphone count and processing labels do not establish how your voice will sound in a particular meeting app. If calls are important, test the relevant device and software in a representative location. A quiet-room sample is not evidence of performance beside traffic or in strong wind.
Check which controls can be changed in the EarFun app and whether the settings remain useful across your devices. Consider volume adjustment, playback and mode switching. A control system should fit your habits rather than require frequent trips into a settings screen for an ordinary action.
We have not evaluated app reliability, update installation or support response. Read the current compatibility requirements, and keep track of settings when comparing modes. If a feature behaves differently after an update, model and firmware details help support identify the issue.
Water-resistance wording needs care
The Air Pro 4 page lists IPX5 resistance. Follow the specific product instructions, including any distinctions between the earbuds and charging case. A resistance label should not be expanded into an assumption that every component can be immersed, washed or exposed to any liquid.
For an exercise purchase, compare the fit and care routine as well as the rating. Confirm how the product should be cleaned and dried before charging. This review has not tested water resistance or long-term performance after repeated exposure.
Returns, warranty and regional differences
The regional warranty terms checked describe a 30-day return window from delivery for eligible undamaged products, with packaging and accessories required, and an 18-month quality-defect warranty for covered purchases. Buyer-initiated returns can require customer-paid shipping. Confirm the terms for the actual merchant and delivery country; a different storefront's banner is not enough.
Ask how a claim is handled, what purchase evidence is needed and where an authorised return would go. Warranty coverage and a change-of-mind return address different situations. Retain the order confirmation and all supplied accessories while deciding whether the product suits you.
We have not submitted a return or warranty claim. Published support terms are useful information, but they do not establish the speed or outcome of an individual case. Clarify any conflicting headline promise with support before relying on it.
Compare the complete offer
Review current EarFun offer conditions on Dealnory, then check the selected model and final cart. A code may apply to one generation or colour while excluding another. Include shipping and any accessories you actually need.
For illustration, a hypothetical $90 pair with a ten-percent reduction saves $9. Adding an unnecessary $15 case accessory raises spending despite the discount. These are example figures, not current EarFun prices or a promise that a code applies. A useful deal meets your requirements at the complete price.
EarFun review: the verdict
EarFun is worth comparing when an exact model fits your devices, listening routine and comfort preferences. The Air Pro 4 specifications provide a useful shortlist, but sound, fit, cancellation and calls remain untested here. Check those priorities separately and read the terms for your own purchase location.
