Gamakay Review: Magnetic Keyboards and What to Check

Gamakay review: how the TK75 and NaughShark magnetic keyboards compare, what TMR and Hall Effect switches change, shipping and return terms, and the current offers before you buy.

Magnetic switch keyboards used to be a premium niche. Gamakay is one of the brands pushing TMR and Hall Effect boards toward mid-range prices, with compact 75% and 65% layouts aimed at gamers who want adjustable actuation and at typists who like to tinker. The catalog looks simple at first, but the details that matter most, such as switch type, layout, shipping time and the return terms, are where buyers should slow down.

This desk review is based on Gamakay's published product information and the offers listed on Dealnory, checked on November 4, 2026. We have not tested Gamakay keyboards ourselves. Gamakay review: a compact keyboard lineup with magnetic options

The core of the range is the TK75 family, which includes the TK75 TMR, the TK75HE V2, the TK75 SOCD and the TK75 Pro, along with the NaughShark NS75 and NS68. Gamakay also lists silent, ISO-layout and aluminum models, so the lineup covers competitive gaming, quieter office use and European key layouts rather than one style of board.

Outside keyboards, the store sells the GX1 and GX1 Pro wireless gaming mice, its own switches such as Phoenix V3, Mercury V3, Pegasus and Bumblebee, keycap sets, wrist rest pads, cleaning kits and a two-in-one keyboard cable. That makes it possible to build or refresh a whole desk setup from one shop.

TMR, Hall Effect or mechanical: choose the switch first

Magnetic switches, whether TMR or Hall Effect, measure key position with a sensor instead of a metal contact. Boards that use them typically let you adjust how far a key travels before it registers, and some support rapid trigger style resets, which competitive players value for fast repeated inputs. Gamakay's SOCD model targets players who care about how simultaneous opposite directions are handled in games.

Traditional mechanical switches still make sense if you mainly type, prefer a particular feel or sound, or want the widest choice of third-party switches. Check whether a given board is hot-swappable and which switch types it accepts before buying spare switches, because magnetic and mechanical switches are not interchangeable.

Layout, keycaps and accessories

Most Gamakay boards use compact 75% or 65% layouts, which save desk space and leave more room for a mouse but drop or combine some keys. If you rely on a number pad or dedicated navigation cluster, confirm the layout before ordering. ISO-layout models are available for buyers who need a European-style Enter key and key arrangement.

If you plan to change keycaps, check the profile and compatibility of the set you want with your board's layout, especially on compact boards with non-standard key sizes. Switches are sold in several pack sizes, so count the keys you need to replace before choosing a pack.

Shipping, warranty and returns

Gamakay ships to most countries with standard and express options. In-stock orders are usually handled within one to three business days, and published standard transit times range from about a week to the United Kingdom to around two weeks or more for some countries, including the United States and Canada. Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility, so check what applies where you live.

Most products carry a one-year warranty. The return terms are stricter than many retailers: returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt, items must be unused and in original packaging, a 35% restocking fee applies, and accessories such as cables, spare keycaps and carry cases are non-refundable. Damaged or incorrect items should be reported within seven days of delivery.

Who Gamakay suits, and who may want something else

Gamakay is a good fit for gamers who want a magnetic switch keyboard at a mid-range price, hobbyists who enjoy swapping switches and keycaps, and buyers who prefer compact layouts. The mix of keyboards, mice and switches also suits someone refreshing an entire setup at once.

It is a weaker fit if you need fast domestic delivery, want generous no-cost returns, or are unsure about switch type and layout. Because of the restocking fee, buyers who like to try several boards before settling may prefer a retailer with a more flexible return policy.

Our verdict: good value if you decide carefully first

Gamakay makes the most sense for buyers who already know they want a compact magnetic or mechanical keyboard and have checked layout, switch type and keycap compatibility. The TK75 family and NaughShark boards offer enthusiast features at accessible prices, especially when they are on sale.

The trade-off is in logistics: international shipping times, import costs and a strict return policy. Decide carefully, order the right layout the first time, and the value case is strong.

Current offers and a sensible final price

Gamakay currently gives 11% off a first order to customers who sign up for its newsletter, and the store shows sale prices on TK75 keyboards, the GX1 mouse and keycap sets. A Mega Sale also covers mechanical and magnetic switch packs, and most products carry a one-year warranty.

Compare the sale price with the regular price minus the newsletter discount, add shipping and any import charges for your country, and remember the restocking fee if you might return the board. Check the latest Gamakay coupons and offers on Dealnory to see what is active today.
