Stuart Trevor Review: Is This Sustainable Streetwear Brand Worth Ordering From Abroad?

Streetwear has become one of the busiest corners of fashion, with small independent labels competing alongside global sportswear giants. For buyers, that means more choice but also more uncertainty about fit, fabric and what happens when an order from another country does not work out. Stuart Trevor is a UK label describing itself as designer streetwear and a sustainable fashion brand, selling menswear, womenswear, outerwear and gift cards online.
I would judge a brand like this less on its marketing and more on the practical side of ordering: delivery cost and speed to your country, whether duties are included, and how expensive it is to return or exchange something that does not fit.
What the brand sells
The range covers clothing and outerwear for men and women. The pages I read focused on delivery and returns rather than detailed product information, so I could not confirm fabrics, sustainability certifications or specific prices. Before buying, check each product page for fabric composition, where it was made and any sustainability claims, since the term sustainable can mean anything from organic cotton to small production runs.
For streetwear, fit is usually the biggest variable. Many labels design oversized or boxy cuts, so read the size guide and compare garment measurements with clothes you already own.
Delivery by region
The delivery page is clear. UK orders arrive in two to three days for £3.95, free over £75. US orders take two to five days for $15, free over $150. European orders to countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Ireland take two to five days for €8.95, free over €150. Australian orders take two to five days for A$24.95, free over A$250.
Duties are included in the price at checkout, which means no surprise charges on delivery. That is a real advantage for international customers buying from the UK after Brexit, when unexpected import fees became common.
Returns and exchanges
Items must be returned within 14 days, unused and in original packaging, with refunds issued within seven days of receipt. Customers pay return postage unless an item is faulty. One free exchange is offered per order worldwide, although you still pay to send the original item back.
International returns carry fixed fees per order: $12 for the US, €13 for Europe, C$21 for Canada, A$23 for Australia and £12 for the rest of the world. Those charges reduce the refund, so factor them in when deciding whether to order two sizes.
Ordering two sizes: does it make sense?
Some shoppers order two sizes and return one. With a fixed return fee per order, that strategy costs the fee once, which may be acceptable for a jacket but less so for a T-shirt. If you are between sizes, the free exchange may be the better route, since you only pay to send one item back.
What I could not confirm
I did not read the FAQ, the size guide or individual product pages, so details about fabrics, care, sizing advice and sustainability claims remain unconfirmed. I would read these before ordering, especially for outerwear, where price and fit matter most.
For illustration, a ÂŁ60 hoodie worn twice a week for two years works out to around 29p per wear. If the international return fee is needed once, it adds a little to that figure. That is a budgeting example, not a durability guarantee.
Who it suits
Stuart Trevor looks most suited to buyers in the UK, Europe, the US and Australia who like independent streetwear and value duty-paid delivery with clear shipping costs. It is less suited to someone who often returns clothes, given the short 14-day window and the international return fees.
Judging sustainability claims
When a label calls itself sustainable, look for specifics: the fibre content, whether cotton is organic or recycled, where garments are made and whether production runs are small or made to order. Certifications such as GOTS for organic textiles carry more weight than general wording. If the details are not on a product page, ask the brand directly. Buying fewer pieces that you wear often is still the most reliable way to make a wardrobe more sustainable.
My verdict
Stuart Trevor offers clearly priced, duty-inclusive delivery to several major markets, a one-free-exchange policy and quick refunds, which makes ordering from abroad more predictable than with many small labels. The 14-day return window and fixed international return fees are the points to weigh. I have not worn these clothes, so fabric quality, fit and sustainability credentials remain untested here.
If I were ordering, I would check the size guide and fabric details, use the exchange rather than ordering two sizes, and try items on as soon as they arrived. Streetwear earns its price when it becomes a favourite you reach for every week, not when it waits in a returns bag.
