Hofdeco Review: Pillow Covers and Table Linens

Hofdeco review: what the home textile shop sells, how to size pillow covers and inserts, indoor versus outdoor fabrics, table linens and current offers before you buy.

Changing the look of a room does not always mean buying a new sofa. Swapping pillow covers, adding a throw or laying a new runner on the table can shift the mood of a space for a fraction of the cost, and that is the job Hofdeco is built around. It sells decorative home textiles rather than furniture, so the buying questions are about sizes, fabrics and how pieces work together rather than about delivery of bulky items.

This desk review is based on Hofdeco's published product information and the offers listed on Dealnory, checked on November 4, 2026. We have not handled the fabrics or tested the products in a home. Hofdeco review: textiles that refresh a room, not furniture

The core of the catalog is pillow covers in a wide range of sizes, including square, lumbar and bolster shapes, alongside pillow inserts to fill them, throw blankets and seat cushion covers for dining chairs and benches. For the table there are runners, placemats, napkins and tablecloths, and the shop also sells fabric by the yard for sewing projects in a matching print.

That focus is the point. Hofdeco is for people who want to change colors and patterns with soft furnishings, not for anyone looking for a new chair or table. If your sofa and dining set are staying, the shop covers most of the fabric layer that sits on top of them.

Getting pillow sizes and inserts right

Sizing is where most pillow cover orders go wrong. Measure the inserts you already own before buying covers, since a cover that does not match its insert either sags or will not close. A common approach is to choose an insert about one or two inches larger than the cover for a fuller, plumper look, and Hofdeco sells inserts if your current ones are flat or the wrong shape.

Lumbar and bolster pillows deserve extra care because their proportions vary more than square ones. Check the listed dimensions against the seat or bed where they will sit, and think about how many pieces you want on a sofa before ordering a full set. A few well-sized covers usually look better than a crowded row of mismatched shapes.

Indoor and outdoor fabrics are not interchangeable

Some Hofdeco lines are made for outdoor use, which lets a patio or balcony get the same treatment as the living room. If pieces will live outside, choose covers that are listed as suitable for outdoor use rather than regular indoor fabric, since indoor textiles tend to fade and absorb moisture faster in sun and rain.

Read the care instructions for each item before you buy. Washing methods, whether covers have zips, and how a fabric handles regular cleaning all affect how good a piece looks after a season of use. This matters most for seat cushion covers and table linens, which see spills and frequent washing.

Mixing styles and matching pieces across a room

Hofdeco's designs blend modern, traditional and bohemian influences, with patterns that draw on both Eastern and Western aesthetics. That variety makes it easier to mix pieces, but it also helps to pick one or two anchor colors so the room does not feel busy. Pairing a patterned cover with a plainer one in a shared tone is a simple way to keep a sofa coordinated.

Fabric by the yard is the useful extra here. If you like a print on a pillow cover, buying the same fabric for curtains, a seat cushion or a small upholstery project ties the room together in a way that ready-made pieces from different shops rarely manage. Check the width and quantity you need before ordering yardage.

Who Hofdeco suits, and who may want something else

The shop is a good fit for renters who cannot repaint or replace furniture, homeowners who like to refresh their decor by season, and hosts who want coordinated table linens before guests arrive. In each case the value comes from changing a lot of the visual feel of a room with soft, relatively easy-to-swap pieces.

It is a weaker fit for anyone shopping for furniture itself, or for buyers who need a single basic cushion quickly and do not care about pattern or coordination. If you only want one plain cover, a general home store may be faster.

Our verdict: buy by measurement, then by pattern

Hofdeco makes the most sense when you want to restyle a room through pillow covers, throws, seat covers and table linens rather than new furniture. Measure your inserts and seats first, choose outdoor-rated pieces for outside spaces, and use fabric by the yard if you want matching curtains or cushions. Those steps matter more than any single design choice.

Hofdeco also lists a 365 Days Quality Assurance program offering a free replacement for quality issues within one year, which is worth reading in full before you order. For buyers who enjoy layering patterns and colors, the shop covers the whole fabric layer of a room in one place.

Current offers and a sensible final price

Hofdeco currently lists a 10% code for subscribing to its emails, free shipping on orders over $100, extra savings when you combine several pieces in one cart and clearance markdowns on selected items. Grouping covers, inserts and table linens in one order is often the easiest way to reach the free shipping threshold, and codes usually apply as alternatives rather than together.
