Enabot review: compare ROLA Mini, EBO Air 2 Plus and EBO Max, camera features, charging, app requirements, ownership costs and return conditions before buying.
Enabot sells mobile camera and companion robots rather than one interchangeable device. A small robot that you drive from an app offers a different experience from a model with scheduled patrol, a charging dock and more elaborate AI interaction. The useful buying decision is whether those functions fit your rooms and connection needs, not simply which robot has the most expressive eyes.
This desk review uses official Enabot Store product pages and policies checked on November 4, 2026. We have not driven the robots, tested video, audited security or placed an order. The cover is an illustrative arrangement based on official catalogue images. Dealnory may earn a commission through our links at no extra cost to you.

Enabot review: choose the level of mobility you need
The range includes ROLA products and several EBO generations with similar names. Do not transfer a feature from Air 2 Plus to Air 2, or assume that every Mini automatically patrols and recharges. Start with your main task: remotely checking a pet, making a video call or moving a camera between accessible rooms. Then identify the model that actually supports it.
The three catalogue examples below were listed at $169 for ROLA Mini, $399 for EBO Air 2 Plus and $599.99 for EBO Max in the US-dollar product data when checked. These are dated reference prices, not a stock or delivery promise. Catalogue data and visible buy-button states can differ by selected version or destination, so confirm the purchasable configuration before planning an order.
ROLA Mini: app-controlled movement with manual charging
ROLA Mini is described as a movable 2K camera with two-way audio, night vision and control through the ROLA app. Its specifications list 2304 by 1296 resolution, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi support and a 5,000 mAh battery. A 32 GB card is listed in the package, with storage expansion up to 256 GB. The supplier claims up to twenty-five days of normal use; that is not twenty-five days of continuous driving or video streaming.
The product FAQ explicitly says it has no autonomous patrol function and does not automatically return to a charging dock. It uses magnetic charging. That makes it important to plan who can recharge it if you are away for a long period. We have not tested battery endurance, connection stability or whether it crosses the thresholds in a particular home.
EBO Air 2 Plus: patrol and two-way video
The Air 2 Plus page lists scheduled smart patrol, two-way video and audio, AI interaction and a 3K camera. Its detailed specification gives 2880 by 1620 resolution, despite older-looking 2K wording in the page title. Use the actual selected model's current specification and ask support to resolve any mismatch with packaging or checkout information.
The listed battery figures distinguish nine to ten hours of standby or video recording from up to four hours of continuous movement. These are manufacturer figures, not our measurements. The model also offers different colors and regional plug choices. Confirm the supplied dock, adapter and region rather than assuming a color or plug option is merely cosmetic. We have not assessed patrol reliability or the quality of the two-way video experience.
EBO Max: higher specification needs a clear purpose
EBO Max is presented as a 4K camera robot with two-way video, V-SLAM navigation and AI-powered interaction. The description promotes recognition and personalised responses, but we have not verified those functions or their accuracy. A higher-resolution camera and more complex navigation do not by themselves establish that the robot will handle every room, identify every person or respond usefully to every situation.
At the listed reference prices, Max costs $200.99 more than Air 2 Plus and $430.99 more than ROLA Mini. Those differences can help frame the decision, but they are not a recommendation to choose the cheapest model. Ask which specific additional task the higher-priced model would perform for you, and whether that task requires an ongoing service, region support or a particular app version.
Map the floor before comparing features
A mobile camera sees from a low viewpoint and can only reach accessible spaces. Closed doors, stairs, deep rugs, narrow gaps and loose objects affect where it can travel. Product obstacle-clearance figures describe limited conditions, not permission to assume that every household threshold is passable. Check the dimensions of the chosen robot against the routes you want it to use.
Plan a suitable charging location where a dock is supplied, and ask about the space and surface needed for reliable docking. For a manually charged model, plan access to the charging cable. We have not tested furniture avoidance, stair detection or recovery after becoming stuck. A fixed camera may also be useful for a view that a floor-level robot cannot provide; compare the actual coverage you need before paying for mobility.
Connection, app access and storage
Confirm the current app for the exact model, supported phone operating systems and whether all functions are available in your country. Ask what continues to work if the internet connection drops, the robot loses Wi-Fi or the phone is offline. Remote viewing depends on more than the camera's pixel count. Signal strength along the intended route and your internet upload capacity can affect the practical experience.
Also establish where recordings are stored, what happens when a memory card fills, and whether a cloud plan is optional or required for the feature you want. A memory-card capacity figure does not establish a number of recording days without knowing resolution and recording mode. Ask about ongoing AI or cloud charges rather than assuming all advertised functions remain free indefinitely.
Privacy deserves a model-specific check
A mobile microphone and camera can capture more of a home than a stationary device aimed at one corner. Discuss placement and recording with the people who share the space, and understand who can access the live view. Review the current app permissions, account-sharing controls and recording settings before routine use. We have not conducted a security or encryption audit.
The store's general privacy information is not a substitute for a clear explanation of the selected app and AI service. Ask where relevant audio and video are processed, how to delete recordings and how long security updates are supported. If a device is being resold, request instructions to remove personal information and unlink the account. These are questions to resolve before use, not evidence that a particular security incident has occurred.
Use companion features with realistic expectations
A robot may provide a way to look in or communicate, but a marketing label such as elderly care does not establish the performance of an emergency monitoring service. We did not test alerts or assess suitability for a vulnerable person's care. Choose any care arrangements on their own requirements rather than assuming that a camera robot guarantees someone will notice and respond to an emergency.
Similarly, a pet may respond differently to a moving device, lights or sound. Introduce any new equipment while someone is present and observe the actual response before relying on remote interaction. A catalogue photograph cannot predict that reaction. The useful benefit may simply be a convenient view or conversation, rather than a broader promise of companionship or protection.
Delivered cost, returns and warranty
The store's shipping policy distinguishes main units and bundles from accessories, with rates and tax treatment depending on the destination. Confirm the final basket rather than assuming a free main-unit shipment makes a later accessory order free too. Check the regional version and plug before payment, and treat the stated delivery windows as estimates.
The refund policy describes a fourteen-day return application window from receipt, customer-paid postage for non-quality returns and non-returnable accessories. It has a separate seven-day process for damaged, incorrect or nonfunctional arrivals. Request approval and the designated address before posting a return. The policy also describes a one-year warranty generally, two years for European purchases, with service tied to the original country of purchase and exclusions. Confirm the terms for your actual order.
Keep the packaging, order record and any issue photographs while support reviews a request. Ask how a device may be inspected while preserving return eligibility, because the policy includes original-condition requirements. We have not tested refund or warranty handling, and a warranty period does not establish response speed, free upgrades or coverage for every accident.
Who may find Enabot worth considering?
The range may suit someone who wants mobile remote viewing and can confirm the selected model's route, app and charging needs. ROLA Mini offers a simpler app-driven approach, Air 2 Plus adds the listed patrol and video features, and Max targets a more elaborate camera and AI experience. The main uncertainties here are real-world navigation, network stability, video quality and service reliability.
