FeiyuTech Review: Gimbals, Pocket Cameras and Offers

FeiyuTech review: how the SCORP camera gimbals, smartphone stabilizers and Pocket gimbal cameras differ, what to check for payload and balance, and every current offer before you buy.

Shaky footage is one of the quickest ways to make a good video look amateur, and a gimbal is the usual fix. The catch is that a gimbal only helps if it suits the camera you actually use, balances your setup and is light enough that you will carry it. FeiyuTech, also known as Feiyu, makes handheld gimbals for smartphones and for mirrorless and DSLR cameras, plus compact Pocket gimbal cameras, and sells them through its official store at prices that are often marked down.

This desk review is based on FeiyuTech's published product information and the offers listed on Dealnory, checked on November 4, 2026. We have not tested any FeiyuTech gimbal. FeiyuTech review: three product families for three kinds of creator

The smartphone gimbals include the SCORP Mini 3, SCORP Mini-P, VB4 and Vimble 3 SE. These are aimed at people who shoot mostly on a phone, whether for social clips, travel or family video. The camera gimbals, including the SCORP 3, SCORP-C2, SCORP 2 and SCORP Mini 3 Pro, are built for mirrorless and DSLR setups where a heavier body and lens need stronger motors.

The Pocket series takes a different approach. The new Pocket 4, along with the Pocket 3 and Pocket 2S, combines a small camera and a stabilizer in one handheld unit, so there is nothing to balance or mount. FeiyuTech also sells kits, carrying cases, a brushless follow focus motor, phone video rigs and KiCA Jet Fan accessories through the same store.

Phone gimbal, camera gimbal or Pocket camera?

Start with the device you will use most. If your phone already shoots the footage you want, a smartphone gimbal is the cheapest and lightest upgrade. If you shoot with a mirrorless camera or DSLR, a phone gimbal will not carry it, and you will need one of the SCORP camera models.

A Pocket gimbal camera makes sense if you want stabilized video without carrying a phone rig or a camera bag, for example for walking vlogs or travel. It trades some flexibility, since you cannot change lenses, for convenience. Think about where and how often you film before deciding, because the smallest option you will actually carry often beats the most capable one left at home.

Payload, balance and compatibility

For camera gimbals, payload is the key specification. Add up the weight of your camera body, lens, battery, card and any accessories such as a microphone or small monitor, then compare it with the supported payload listed for each SCORP model. A setup close to the limit can be hard to balance and may strain the motors, so leave some headroom.

Compatibility goes beyond weight. If you want to control focus, zoom or recording from the gimbal, check the compatibility details for your specific camera model rather than assuming every function is supported. Long or front-heavy lenses are the most common source of balance problems, so test with the lens you will actually use.

Shipping, warranty and where to buy

The official FeiyuTech store prices in US dollars and lists free standard shipping to the US, Canada, the UK and most EU countries, with delivery to the US, Canada and UK typically taking 3 to 5 business days for orders shipped from local stock. Items shipped from China take longer, and other regions may pay shipping fees at checkout.

The official store lists a 12-month warranty and 30-day returns. FeiyuTech also sells through Amazon and AliExpress, so compare prices, but keep in mind that warranty handling and return terms can differ depending on where you buy.

Who FeiyuTech suits, and who may want something else

FeiyuTech suits smartphone creators who want smoother clips without a big investment, mirrorless and DSLR shooters looking for a capable gimbal at a lower price than some premium brands, and vloggers who prefer an all-in-one Pocket camera for travel.

It is a weaker fit for productions with very heavy cinema cameras, users who need a specific ecosystem of accessories from another brand, or anyone who rarely films moving shots. In those cases, a heavier-duty system or simply a good tripod may be the better spend.

Our verdict: match the gimbal to your camera first

FeiyuTech offers a clear range of stabilizers for phones, cameras and all-in-one Pocket shooting, with frequent markdowns in its official store. The right model depends far more on the device you film with and its weight than on headline features.

Choose the product family first, check payload and compatibility for your exact setup, and compare kit and standalone prices. Done that way, a FeiyuTech gimbal can be a cost-effective step up from handheld footage.
