ISO Pure Water Review: RO Systems, Softeners and Filters

ISO Pure Water review: how its reverse osmosis systems, softeners, whole-house and UV filters and replacement parts fit different homes, what to test first and which current offers apply.

Water treatment is a category where the wrong purchase is easy to make. Hard water, chlorine taste, sediment and high dissolved solids each call for a different kind of system, and a reverse osmosis unit will not fix scale in the shower any more than a softener will improve drinking water taste. ISO Pure Water sells a wide range of systems and an unusually deep catalog of replacement parts, which makes it useful both for first-time buyers and for owners maintaining an existing setup, as long as you know what problem you are trying to solve.

This desk review is based on ISO Pure Water's published product information and the offers listed on Dealnory, checked on November 4, 2026. We have not installed or tested the systems. ISO Pure Water review: systems plus a deep parts catalog

ISO Pure Water is the trading name of IPW Industries in Santa Ana, California, and it cites more than 20 years of filtration experience and WQA membership. Its system categories include residential and commercial reverse osmosis, whole-house filtration, water softeners, UV purification, under-sink and countertop filters, spin-down sediment trappers and water coolers and chillers.

The parts side is just as broad. The store lists sediment, carbon and specialty cartridges, RO membranes, refrigerator and shower filters, faucets, housings, pumps and boosters, softener valves and resin, UV lamps and sleeves and tanks, from IPW and brands such as Pentek, Watts, Fleck, Clack and Omnipure. For anyone with an existing system, that range can save a lot of searching.

Start with a water test, not a product page

Before choosing a system, find out what is in your water. A hardness test tells you whether a softener is worth it, a TDS reading helps decide whether reverse osmosis makes sense for drinking water, and a local water quality report or lab test can flag sediment, chlorine or other issues. ISO Pure Water also sells testing and treatment products, which is a sensible first step.

With results in hand, the choice gets clearer. Whole-house filters and softeners treat all the water entering the home, while under-sink RO and countertop systems focus on drinking and cooking water. Many homes end up combining a whole-house solution with a point-of-use RO system, so plan the full setup rather than buying one piece at a time.

The Aero-RO S9 and other reverse osmosis options

The Aero-RO S9 is ISO Pure Water's featured system. The store describes it as a 700 GPD tankless reverse osmosis unit with five filtration stages, TDS monitoring, automatic self-flush and tool-free filter changes, and it comes with a 1-year IPW warranty. A tankless design saves cabinet space compared with a traditional RO system with a storage tank.

Before buying any RO system, check under-sink space, the faucet hole or countertop mounting option, drain access and whether you need power for a pump. Also check filter replacement costs and intervals, since the ongoing cost of cartridges and membranes is part of the real price of owning the system.

Shipping, freight items and returns

Most orders of $75 or more ship free within the continental US, while smaller orders carry a flat shipping charge. Oversize and freight items, which can include large tanks, softeners and commercial units, are excluded from free shipping and ship at carrier or freight rates, so check the delivery cost on big items before checkout.

The store has a return policy page and an online return process. Read the terms before ordering a large system, check the contents when it arrives and keep the packaging until you have confirmed that every part is present and the fittings match your plumbing.

Who ISO Pure Water suits, and who may want something else

ISO Pure Water fits homeowners installing a first RO system or softener, DIYers comfortable with basic plumbing, owners hunting a specific replacement cartridge, membrane or valve part, and small businesses looking at commercial RO or coolers. The breadth of brands and parts is its strongest point.

It is a weaker fit for buyers who want full installation included or who would rather not handle plumbing at all. If that is you, budget for a plumber or look for a dealer that installs, and use the store mainly for replacement filters later on.

Our verdict: a strong source once you know your water

ISO Pure Water offers a wide range of treatment systems and one of the deeper parts catalogs a home buyer is likely to need, backed by a California company with long experience in filtration. The Aero-RO S9 is a space-saving RO option for drinking water.

Test first, plan the whole setup and account for filter replacement costs. With that groundwork done, ISO Pure Water can supply both the system and the parts to keep it running.

Current offers and a sensible final price

ISO Pure Water currently lists the Aero-RO S9 for $325 with code AERO50 through November 30, a holiday price against its usual listing, and free shipping on most continental US orders of $75 or more, excluding oversize and freight items. The Aero-RO S9 also includes a 1-year IPW warranty, and the store sells combo and bundle packages for buyers who want a matched system and filters together. Add the cost of the first set of replacement filters when comparing totals. Check the latest ISO Pure Water coupons and offers on Dealnory to see what is active today.
